Yep. A leg just shouldn't bend that way.

Seeing Joe get his leg broken is one of my earlier memories. It does kind of stick with you.

You know, I closed my eyes during the replays becuase I can't stand to see stuff like that -- was it a late hit?Randy Moss was saying he thought it was a dirty hit but the conclusion most people have reached was that it was mostly bad luck and not anything dirty. These people are my client so I am going to plug this. Buy Big Papi's Bed!

Dear Ronnie Brown,
To be honest, you weren't supposed to be on my team. It was a live draft on the Sunday I flew out to VA. Would have been at the hotel to participate, but United cancelled my flight and I was delayed about eight hours. Random draw on my pre-rankings. Which I did not do since I was sure I'd be there. So, we're talking really random here. I had not ever planned on drafting you. Anyway, you were the last pick on my roster this week in this fantasy league with my boys. I could've gone with someone else in the RB/WR position after your crap Week 1 and 2 debacles. But I kept you in because I figured the Pats D would at least let you get 60, maybe 70 yards if lucky. Wasn't expecting much. Now, thanks to you, my opponent is curled fetal and sobbing like a three-year-old. God bless you, sir. Your pal, The Judge |

Yeah, that was something, wasn't it? I was watching the Bengals/Giants game and about choked when I saw the score on that game.

Aaaccckkk! Mr S and I are going to be in Dallas Fri - Sun for our annual TX/OU football weekend, and now I just was asked to fly to San Diego Mon AM and spend the week there for business. Talk about short notice. I managed to get air/hotel/car booked just now, and I have to look at clearing my calendar for next week, think about packing twice, and extend the dog's stay at the kennel, since R won't have anything to do with taking care of him while I am gone. Care to make a little wager on the game, suekel? |

Hmmmm, not particularly.
Although I do think we at least have a chance at winning - last year was a close game, and we no longer have Jamal "Butterfingers" Charles, whose fumbles cost us a win last year. Ought to be an exciting atmosphere, since the teams are numbers 1 & 5. Can't wait! |

Oh, this is ridiculous. In Columbus, ABC is *NOT* showing the OSU game. They're showing Notre Dame. I certainly hope they figure out they put the wrong
game on, or there may well be a pitchfork wielding mob marching on channel 6.
(I'm at my apartment, and I've got the right game, but I called home to exclaim over the fact that Toledo beat Michigan(!) and my dad was, uh, annoyed by the fact that he was not viewing the game. He tried switching from the HD channel to the regular channel, but no go. Their website says it's supposed to be the OSU game, so who knows. They've got the radio on, but Daddy was still peeved). |

suekel, you should have bet me! Stupid Sooners and their stupid choke.
Oh, well, I got my Cowboys tonight against Missouri - hopefully that game will turn out better. |

Yeah, baby!! Who let my Dawgs out!
I was just hoping they wouldn't embarrass themselves. Never in a million years would I have expected they'd trash the Giants 35-14. There are some sad, sad gamblers out there tonight. |

I know kg, I totally thought of you after the game, and that I should have taken the bet. I gotta tell you, it was a REALLY exciting game to be at, and I still
don't quite have my voice back yet.

I have decided I am going to root for the Phillies in the World Series. Not out of any real animus towards the Rays (even after beating the Sox, it is
impossible to hate them) but because I feel as if the people of Philadelphia deserve a championship after these many years.

This is a series that doesn't really have anyone to root against. Tampa Bay is a nice story and I'd b fine with them winning, but Pat Burrell went to
db jr's high school, so I'll be rooting for him.

I usually root for the NL team except I hate the Phillies with a passion so, I'm rooting for the Rays.

I honestly could not care less about this World Series. I've tried to chose a team to root for, but... nothing.
Another big game for UT this weekend. I am really trying to just take it one game at a time, and not look ahead, but if they can beat OSU this weekend and Texas Tech (in Lubbock, that's going to be tough) next weekend, I think they have a good shot at going all the way. Mr S and I have been peeking at flights to Miami in early January. You know, just in case. ;o) |

You will note that I'm not asking if you want to bet on that game, suekel - as much as I would love my Cowboys to win, I'm thinking it
may not be a happening thing. But then again, nobody thought we could beat Missouri.
